Personality:

Imagine growing up 50 years in the future under the regime of an all-powerful tyrant who rules with an iron fist and a cruel heart that cares for nothing but conquest? Yeah, that's pretty much Geiz's life. You could say he's kind of bitter about it because in the future, his present, he's been fighting against the megalomaniacal madman named Tokiwa Sougo for what seems like forever.

There is, of course, The Resistance; factions all over the world that fight against the onslaught of mayhem that Sougo deals out to the masses. In fact, that's pretty much all he's known since birth and because of it most of his identity revolves around being that of a soldier called Kamen Rider Geiz. That's why he rarely shows positivity, why he's impulsive and surly and rough towards almost anyone he doesn't know and isn't close with. In fact, you could almost call him fatalistic because he's the type to drive something into the ground far enough that it reaches into the core of the earth and then out the other end.

But he's also just an 18 year old boy who was shoved into that mold due to circumstances outside of his control.

So of course he's angry a lot. Of course he's bitter over the course of his life due to the machinations of a man who only obtains victory and happiness through the subjugation of others. But that's not all of who he is. He has moments of having hope, moments of caring for others, moments where he'll fight to protect and save others no matter the cost. He's also a human being and human beings get tired, they fall to despair, they live and eat and cry and shout. And because he's human, he's tired of having to fight. He's tired of having to lose people he cares about.

He even states to Sougo one time that he's exhausted himself and his emotions to the point where he's basically just burned out due to all the sacrifices he's had to endure throughout the war. His identity is so much that of a soldier that he's built walls around his heart and around most of his feelings. So much so that it seems almost as if he's detached and feels nothing except the desire to kill and take revenge on all those responsible for his losses. But inside of him there burns an inner fire full of regret and pain and fear. Regret over not being able to save people that need to be saved, pain over a war he was forced to be a part of, and fear over what else he can lose if the war never ends. He doesn't want to lose those important to him anymore, he's afraid of that to the point where he cooks up an absolutely insane scheme to stop it all before it can start.

That's where the start of the series comes in. Geiz basically hijacks a time machine so he can go back in time and kill Tokiwa Sougo before he amasses the power he has in the future. He has no hesitation on this action, he just sees it as the only means to end all the suffering even if he's going to be killing a guy who's basically innocent before becoming guilty 50 years later. That's the type of guy he is; he decides on something and sticks with it using a stubbornness that can rival fifteen bulls.

However, when he meets Sougo in the past he's thrown for a loop because the Tokiwa Sougo of the past is absolutely nothing like his future self. Sougo is kind, reliable, friendly, affectionate and he even saves both Geiz and his comrade Tsukuyomi from a monster attack without even knowing who they really are. And also completely ignoring the fact that Geiz had just tried to kill him like ten minutes before that. This sends Geiz into a spiral of doubt, not as much doubt as Tsukuyomi feels, but enough doubt where he questions if he's gone after the right guy.

Because of this, both Geiz and Tsukuyomi decide to move into Sougo's residence and basically stalk him to make sure they have the right guy. This also means they go undercover as students at Sougo's school and follow him around everywhere like white on rice. Geiz even waits for Sougo in a bathroom stall to make sure he's able to keep watch of the poor guy 24/7 because that's how serious and focused he is about the issue. And that's how far he'll go to do what he has to. Throughout all these antics, the number of questions in his head rises exponentially due to how different Sougo is. For a long while, he pretty much acts like he hates Sougo and wants nothing to do with him except to kill him. Even going to the point of threatening Sougo with a baguette and throwing butter knives at him during breakfast.

But over time Geiz's doubts increase and he unconsciously begins to be drawn to Sougo as both a friend and comrade because they team up to fight against the Another Riders ( monsters of the week ) together numerous times. Enough times to create a bond between the two. His feelings slowly change and because of that he begins to show better qualities of his personality. He's brave, loyal, dedicated and determined to work towards a better future for them all. But while Tsukuyomi is more willing to set aside the fact that Sougo is a despot in the future, Geiz takes a lot more time to warm up to him. This is shown as Geiz defaulting to a gruff, harsh and combative demeanor towards him and pretty much everyone else he doesn't know. On the outside he seems like he has his mind set on eventually killing Sougo but inside there's a swirl of confusion. Geiz is used to being sure, he's used to making split-second decisions in battle to defeat his enemies, he's used to sticking with his mind once it's made up.

Which is why there is a giant struggle inside of him over whether or not Sougo deserves to be killed. This gets worse when a different version of a man named Woz appears in the current present timeline. A version of Woz from a future where Geiz becomes the savior who offed Sougo and saved the world from his madness. While he feels that it's necessary to defeat Sougo and end his future reign, he still questions if he should and deep in his heart he honestly doesn't want to. He just doesn't show it because he's a tsundere, where most of his squishy emotions ( besides anger and rage ) are hidden deep inside of him. Not only because he's afraid of what he can and has already lost, but because he considers Sougo important to him in a way he never thought possible. And he finds that difficult to convey or show due to his hard emotional exterior. Underneath, though, he feels too much and too hard and that's why he tries to keep a control over himself and employs using his identity as a soldier as a reason to do so.

The promised and destined showdown between both Sougo and Geiz changes that, and while they both fight to drag their battered bodies towards each other to make the fight happen, they both realize different things due to Sougo admitting that Geiz and Tsukuyomi are his first friends and admitting that he's lonely without them. This infuriates Geiz but he doesn't realize it's because he's grown to care for Sougo that he's angry. He's not angry at Sougo for this; he's angry at his own emotions and feelings getting in the way of doing what he thinks he has to do. It's easier for him to see in black and white, it's easier for him to disregard shades of gray. However, what changes everything and seals the deal is when Another Zi-O appears to fight and kill Sougo. Geiz stops it from landing a killing blow and finally and loudly declares that Sougo is the kindest, most reliable man he's ever known and that he's also his friend.

It takes that much for Geiz to admit that. It takes seeing Sougo almost being killed to fire him into action. And even though it's shakes his core beliefs strongly, he continues to proceed to fight Another Zi-O back because he's realized that Sougo will never become the Demon King he's known as in the future. And he's realized that he does care and that he does want to help Tsukuyomi guide Sougo into growing up to be a good and kind demon king. So he puts all his efforts into making sure that happens, but he still finds it difficult to really show how much he cares after that because old habits die hard. He proves that he trusts Sougo though by continuing to fight by his side and also by sacrificing his own life to save Sougo from certain death near the end of the series. Before he dies, he tells Sougo to become Oma Zi-O, to become a good demon king. His growth as a person beyond that of being a soldier is seen here. No longer is he battle-worn and tired from loss and sacrifice, instead he's become someone who can see those shades of gray and see that people can make the changes they need to if you give them a chance.

This is a huge step for Geiz because it finally displays just how much he believes in Sougo and how far he's come emotionally in accepting someone he thought he would hate till the end of his days. But as tsundere as Geiz is, he is still able to show some emotions in regards to Tsukuyomi, who has been his comrade from the start. He's often seen trying to protect her, spending time with her . . . trying to shoot a guy for flirting with her. But this shows that Geiz is able to feel beyond that of his soldier exterior and shows his potential of becoming someone who is less harsh, less aggressive and less hostile towards others.

In the end, while Geiz still gives off a state of almost constant focused intent and a steel will, he really just wants to make all the pain and suffering end for everyone and is willing to do what he can to make sure everyone is safe and happy and protected.

Abilities & Skills:

Kamen Rider Geiz; He can use a belt to transform into a stronger armored form that's called Kamen Rider Geiz. This form however will be nerfed.

Hand to hand combat; Geiz is part of a resistance group far in the future that fights against a dictator that rules with an iron fist. So because he grew up in a resistance group, he's more than able to hold is own in fighting because that's what he's been trained to do in regards to both defense and offense.

Weapons proficiency; Geiz is able to wield axes, cross bows, blades, and firearms

Language; Geiz can understand, read, speak and write German.

Inventory/Companions: His weird ass future clothes and his henshin belt. The belt itself won't work and won't let him transform, though.

Choice: monster; vampire
Reason: Geiz wouldn't really know what to do with magic if he was a witch because his focus is more as the secondary support to the main character of his series ( Tokiwa Sougo ). So it makes sense that he'd be a monster who would have his own brute strength be amplified as a vampire. That and he's also a brute strength type of guy. The added plus is that it would honestly be fun to have Geiz be reliant on having to drink blood for sustenance.
